A numbing cream only dulls sensation at the anal opening. Comfortable anal play still depends on plenty of lube, a slow start and working up in size over time. Numb AF is described as safe to use with toys for that build-up. The maker's directions are to apply a dime size amount to the anal opening, wait 3 to 5 minutes before anal play and reapply as needed. It can be used with toys as you work up gradually. The cream is not a lubricant, so keep your usual lube within reach.
