What does Cruise Control do on a LELO massager? Many toys lose strength when you push them hard against your body, because the extra pressure loads the motor. Cruise Control is LELO's fix. The massager keeps part of its power in reserve during normal use and feeds it in when you press down, so the intensity you chose stays where you set it. It works automatically. There is nothing to switch on and nothing to adjust, and you still pick the setting yourself.
LELO SONA Cruise: steady sonic power under pressure
SONA Cruise takes the original SONA and adds Cruise Control. Like its sibling it uses SenSonic technology: sonic pulses pass through a soft 0.7 in mouth and travel into the parts of the clitoris below the surface, so you feel them without the toy rubbing on you. The difference shows when you press down. Cruise Control keeps the intensity from dropping, which matters most in the last moments before orgasm.
There are eight settings, from a quiet murmur to a firm pulse. The body is one seamless piece of silicone, 100% waterproof and ready for the bath, the shower or the hot tub. It charges by USB in 2 hours, runs for up to 2 hours and holds its charge on standby for up to 90 days.
Best for: External clitoral use only. SONA Cruise suits people who grind or press a toy hard against themselves as they get close, and who have found that other massagers fade at that point. It has the same hand-sized 4.3 in shape as SONA, for solo use or with a partner.

How to use
Give SONA Cruise a full 2-hour charge first. Spread a small amount of water-based lubricant on the rim of the mouth. Position the mouth over the clitoris and switch on at a low intensity. Hold it lightly to begin with and let the sonic waves do the work. Step up through the eight settings with the three buttons as you warm up. When you want more, press the massager closer instead of reaching for the buttons: Cruise Control is there to keep the power level at that point. It switches off by itself after 20 minutes.
Care
- Pair it with water-based lubricant only; silicone lubricant can harm the silicone body.
- Rinse with warm water and mild soap or a toy cleaner before and after each use, then dry it.
- Do not boil it and do not put it in a dishwasher.
- Charge with the included USB cord for 2 hours, and make sure the massager is dry first.
- Keep it in the satin pouch between uses.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between SONA Cruise and SONA?
Only Cruise Control. Size, weight, mouth width, the eight settings and the battery are identical. SONA Cruise holds its intensity when you press it hard against your body, where SONA has no such reserve. Choose the Cruise if you tend to press harder as you get close.
How is SONA Cruise different from SONA 2 Cruise?
Both have Cruise Control. SONA 2 Cruise has twelve settings instead of eight and a wider mouth, 0.9 in against 0.7 in. Battery, run time and weight are the same. SONA Cruise is the option if you prefer a slightly smaller opening and a shorter list of modes.
Does it have to touch the clitoris?
No. LELO says the sonic pulses can be felt without the massager making direct contact with the clitoris. The mouth rests on the skin around it. That makes SONA Cruise worth a look if direct vibration on the tip is too much for you.
Is SONA Cruise waterproof?
Yes, 100% waterproof. It is made from a single piece of silicone that keeps it watertight, and LELO lists the bath, the shower and the hot tub as suitable places to use it. Dry it before charging.
How long does the battery last?
LELO gives up to 2 hours of use from a 2-hour charge, and up to 90 days on standby. The massager also turns itself off after 20 minutes of continuous running, so you may need to switch it back on during a longer session.
