What sweetens a flavored lubricant? It varies by brand. Some use sugar or glycerin, which can feel sticky. Wicked sweetens its Aqua flavors with stevia, a natural plant-derived sweetener. The maker describes stevia as 200 times sweeter than sugar with zero calories, so only a little is needed to give the lubricant its taste. The result is a water-based formula that the maker describes as light and silky. Aqua flavors are also formulated with olive leaf extract.
Wicked Aqua Strawberry: stevia-sweetened and silky
Wicked Aqua Strawberry is a flavored water-based lubricant from Wicked Sensual Care in a 4 oz bottle. The texture is light and silky, combining a smooth lubricant with a fruit flavor. Like the other Aqua flavors, it gets its sweetness from stevia, a natural sweetener with zero calories, and the formula includes olive leaf extract.
Best for: For couples who want a strawberry taste during oral sex, and for people who prefer a flavored lubricant sweetened with stevia instead of sugar. It also works as a general water-based lubricant for those who like a fruity note.
