Why does glycerin-free matter in a flavored lubricant? Many flavored lubricants get their sweetness from glycerin or sugar. Sliquid takes a different approach with Naturals Swirl. The base is its Naturals H2O water-based lubricant, which is free of glycerin and parabens, and the sweetness comes from natural flavoring with a hint of aspartame. The maker lists the formula as free of sugar and sugar derivatives. For people who prefer to avoid glycerin in intimate products, this gives a flavored option without it.
Sliquid Swirl Pina Colada: light tropical flavor, simple formula
Sliquid Naturals Swirl Pina Colada is a flavored water-based lubricant in a 4.2 fl oz (124 ml) bottle. It starts from the original Naturals H2O formula, free of glycerin and parabens, with natural flavoring and a hint of aspartame added. The pina colada taste is kept subtle on purpose: the maker says Swirl flavors are meant to add to your own taste without covering it.
The formula is water-soluble, non-staining and lightly scented. It is listed as 100% vegan friendly, hypoallergenic, non-toxic and pH balanced, and as friendly to latex, rubber and plastic.
Best for: Suits couples who want a tropical flavor for oral sex without a heavy, sugary coating. It is also a fit for people who read ingredient labels and want a short list free of glycerin, parabens and sugar.

The ingredients list shows natural flavoring and aspartame. Sliquid describes it as a hint of aspartame to sweeten, and lists the lubricant as free of sugar, sugar derivatives and glycerin.
Is the pina colada flavor strong?
No. Sliquid says all Swirl flavors are subtle and intended to add to your own taste without covering it. The lubricant is also described as lightly scented, so expect a mild tropical note.
Can I use it with condoms and toys?
The maker lists it as friendly to latex, rubber and plastic. It is a water-based formula, which is the type recommended for silicone toys. It is water-soluble, so cleanup needs only water.
