How does a butt plug stay in place? A plug has three parts that work together. The tip is narrow, so it goes in gradually. The body then widens to its fullest point. After that comes the neck, which is much thinner than the body. Once the widest part has passed, the muscles close around the neck and hold the plug where it is. The Basic Anal Plug Small follows this pattern, with a tapered tip, a tight neck and a flat bottom that stays outside so you can take it out easily.
Basic Anal Plug Small: a simple first plug
The Basic Anal Plug Small is the entry-level plug in the Anal Adventures line. It is made of ABS, a rigid, smooth plastic, and has no motor or moving parts. The tip is tapered so insertion starts narrow and widens slowly. Below the body, a tight neck lets the muscles close around the plug and hold it firmly.
The bottom is flat, which gives you something to grip when you want to remove it. The ABS is free of phthalates, latex, paraffin and fragrance. It can be used alone or with a partner. With no motor or batteries, there is nothing to set up before use.
Best for: Suited to people who are new to anal play and want a small, uncomplicated plug, and to anyone who prefers a firm toy to a soft one. It is worn in place during solo play or with a partner rather than moved in and out.

How to use
Wash the plug before first use. Take your time to relax, and apply a generous amount of lubricant to the plug and to yourself, because the anus does not lubricate on its own. Rest the tapered tip against the opening and press gently, letting the body adjust as the plug widens. Stop and add lubricant if you feel resistance. Once the widest point is in, the neck will settle and the flat bottom should rest against the body. To remove it, hold the bottom, relax and pull slowly. Stop at any sign of pain.
Care
- Use plenty of water-based lubricant every time.
- Wash with warm water and mild soap or a toy cleaner before and after each use.
- Dry it fully with a clean cloth before you put it away.
- Do not share it between partners, or between anal and vaginal use, without washing it first.
- Store it in a clean, dry place away from heat.

Frequently asked questions
Is this plug good for beginners?
Yes. It is the small size in the Anal Adventures basic range, with a tapered tip that makes insertion gradual. The neck holds it in place once it is in, so you do not need to hold it. Go slowly and use plenty of lubricant.
What are its measurements?
The distributor does not publish the length or width of this plug, only that it is the small size. We do not want to guess, so no dimensions are listed here. As the small plug in the range it is intended as a starting size.
What is ABS like compared with silicone?
ABS is a hard, smooth plastic. It does not bend or compress the way silicone does, so the plug feels firm and keeps its shape. Some people like that solid feel. If you want a toy with some give, choose a silicone plug instead.
Is it safe to wear?
The plug has a flat bottom that stays outside the body and a narrow neck that keeps it in position. Check that the bottom sits against the body after insertion. Remove the plug if it becomes uncomfortable, and do not fall asleep wearing it.
