What is a full body bondage harness used for? A full body harness is worn over the torso and limbs and gives a partner fixed points to attach other gear. Instead of buying a collar, chest harness and waist belt separately, everything is joined in one piece. On the Backbone, a single strap runs down the back and eight straps branch off it to the collar, chest, torso and lower body. Its 16 D-rings take cuffs, leashes, spreader bars or furniture anchors, so a wearer can be positioned in many ways without re-tying anything.
Backbone Full Body Harness: one spine, eight straps
The Backbone is a full body harness built around a central strap that runs 59.6 in down the back. Eight straps branch off it to form a collar and to wrap the chest, torso and lower body, so the whole restraint system goes on as one piece. Sixteen D-rings are spread across the harness as attachment points for restraints, leashes, spreader bars and furniture anchors.
Every buckle is lockable, which keeps each strap at the length you set. The straps adjust over wide ranges in four groups, and the harness is unisex. It is made from vegan leather with iron hardware, and it is phthalate-free and nickel-free.
Best for: Couples who already use cuffs, leashes or spreader bars and want one harness that ties all of it together. It suits bondage scenes where the wearer is positioned and held, and it adjusts to a wide range of body sizes.

How to use
Lay the harness out flat with the long spine strap in the middle and loosen every buckle. Agree on a safe word or signal first. Fasten the collar so two fingers fit underneath, then work down the body, closing the chest, torso and lower straps one group at a time. Tighten each strap until it is snug but does not dig in or restrict breathing. Clip cuffs or a leash to the D-rings once the fit is right. If you lock the buckles, keep the keys within reach. Never leave a restrained person alone, and check on comfort and circulation regularly.
Care
- Wipe clean with a damp cloth and mild soap, or use a leather toy cleaner.
- Pat dry with a soft towel. Do not soak the harness.
- Let it air dry fully before you put it away.
- Store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Keep it apart from other toys in storage.

Frequently asked questions
Will the Backbone fit me?
The collar adjusts from 13 in to 22.2 in. Straps 1 to 4 run from 39.25 in to 57.4 in, straps 5 and 6 from 22.5 in to 41 in, and straps 7 and 8 from 7.25 in to 25 in. Measure yourself against those ranges before ordering.
Are locks included for the buckles?
The buckles are described as lockable, but the distributor does not say that padlocks come with the harness. Plan to supply your own small locks if you want to lock the straps in place.
What can I attach to the D-rings?
There are 16 D-rings. The maker lists restraints, leashes, furniture anchors, spreader bars and other bondage accessories. You can connect gear at any combination of points to change how the wearer is positioned.
Is it real leather?
No. The harness is made from vegan leather with iron hardware. It is described as phthalate-free and nickel-free, which is useful to know if nickel irritates your skin. Care is a wipe with a damp cloth.
Is it for men or women?
It is unisex. The eight straps adjust in four groups over wide ranges, so the same harness can be set up for different body shapes and sizes. All hardware is nickel-free.
