Can a mini wand feel as strong as a full-size one? Not quite, and it is not meant to. A full-size wand has a large motor and a broad head that spreads vibration over a wide area. A mini wand such as the Doxy Go has a smaller motor and a 1.2 inch head, so the vibration is concentrated on a small spot. Many people find that focus is what they want for clitoral use. What you gain is a wand that weighs a few ounces, fits in a bag and can be used in water.
Doxy Go: the pocket-size waterproof Doxy wand
The Doxy Go is the smallest wand Doxy makes. It is 6.3 inches long, weighs 5.1 oz and has an anodized aluminum body with a 1.2 inch silicone head. Three sealed buttons give you five intensity levels and six optional patterns, with a top motor speed of 7,100 rpm. It is rated IPX7, which means it can be used in the bath or shower.
A charge takes about two hours through the pin-to-USB cable. In return you get more than 70 minutes of use on low or more than 50 minutes on high. Doxy quotes less than 55 dB of sound on the highest setting, and a travel lock stops the wand switching itself on in a bag.
Best for: Travelers, people who want a wand for the bath or shower, and anyone who finds full-size wands heavy or too broad. It is for external use, and the small head suits precise clitoral stimulation as well as spot massage on the neck, hands and feet.

How to use
Charge the wand fully before first use, which takes about two hours with the pin-to-USB cable. Make sure the wand and its charging contacts are dry before you connect the cable. If the travel lock is on, release it as shown in the leaflet. Switch on and start at the lowest of the five levels, then step up until it feels right. Try the six patterns once you are comfortable. Hold the head lightly against the spot you want to stimulate, since pressing hard is not necessary. Add water-based lubricant for glide. Rinse and dry the wand after use.
Care
- Use water-based lubricant only on the silicone head.
- Wash with warm water and mild soap or toy cleaner after each use, then dry it fully.
- Never connect the charging cable while the wand or its charging contacts are wet or damp.
- Do not boil the wand or put it in a dishwasher.
- Turn on the travel lock and store the wand dry, away from other silicone toys.

Frequently asked questions
Is the Doxy Go fully waterproof?
Doxy rates it IPX7 and describes it as fully waterproof for bath, shower and everyday use. Let it dry completely afterwards, and always check that the charging contacts are dry before you plug in the cable.
How long does the battery last?
Doxy states more than 70 minutes on the low setting and more than 50 minutes on the highest. A full charge takes about two hours with the supplied pin-to-USB cable.
How small is it compared with other Doxy wands?
The Doxy Go is 6.3 inches long and weighs 5.1 oz. Doxy's compact Die Cast wands are about 11 inches long, so the Go is a little over half that length. Its head is 1.2 inches across, which gives a more focused feel.
Is it quiet?
It is one of the quieter wands. Doxy quotes less than 55 dB on the maximum setting, and its comparison table lists an operating range of 55 to 60 dB. Lower settings and patterns are quieter than full power.
Is the Doxy Go a good first wand?
Yes. Five clearly stepped levels make it easy to start low, the small head is simple to aim and the light body is comfortable to hold. If you want the widest, deepest vibration, a full-size plug-in wand is the stronger choice.
