Why would I use tubing with an enema bulb? A plain bulb has to be held right at the body, which means reaching behind you and squeezing at an awkward angle. With the tube fitted, only the tip is at the body. The bulb stays in your hand in front of you, where you can squeeze it evenly and see what you are doing. This kit lets you work either way: the bulb has its own slim tip, and the 23.5 inch tube takes any of three attachments.

CleanStream Enema Bulb Kit: one bulb, two ways to use it

The CleanStream Enema Bulb Kit is a small, hand-powered douche for rinsing before anal play. The black bulb is 4.3 inches long and 3.2 inches wide, with a pointed, tapered tip that inserts 2.2 inches and is 0.34 inches thick. You fill the bulb by squeezing it and letting it draw water in, then squeeze again to release.

For more reach, connect the 23.5 inch tube and one of three tips: two smooth tapered tips or one beaded tip. Each is 0.5 inches in diameter. The end of the tube where the tips attach has a wide flange, a safety feature that stops it from going in too far.

Best for: A sensible choice for anyone who wants a simple, portable way to clean out before anal sex or toy play. It needs no installation, so it suits travel and small bathrooms. The slim tips make it approachable for people using an enema for the first time.

How to use

Wash the parts before first use. Push your chosen tip onto the flanged end of the tube. Squeeze the air out of the bulb, hold its tip in warm water and let go so it fills. Fit the tube onto the bulb's tip. Put water-based lubricant on the attachment and insert it gently. Squeeze the bulb slowly to let the water in, and keep it squeezed while you withdraw the tip so it does not draw back. Do this in the shower or tub, release into the toilet, and repeat until the water runs clear.

Care

  • Use water-based lubricant only on the tips.
  • Wash all parts with warm water and toy cleaner after every use.
  • For a deeper clean, soak the pieces in warm soapy water, then flush the tube and bulb through.
  • Pat dry and let the inside of the bulb and tube air out fully.
  • Store in a cool, dry place, out of direct sunlight and away from other toys.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use the bulb without the tubing?

Yes. The bulb has its own pointed, tapered tip, 2.2 inches insertable and 0.34 inches in diameter. It is the slimmest option in the kit. The tube and the three attachments are for when you want more reach.

What is the difference between the tips?

The two tapered tips are smooth and insert 3.7 inches. The beaded tip is longer at 4.7 inches and has a beaded shape that adds some stimulation. All three are 0.5 inches in diameter.

How does this compare with the CleanStream enema syringe?

Both use the same 23.5 inch tube and the same three tip shapes. The bulb is squeezed and refilled by suction. The syringe has a plunger and a stated 5.1 fl oz (150 mL) chamber. The bulb can also be used alone, without the tube.

How much water does the bulb hold?

The distributor does not state a volume for the bulb, only its size: 4.3 inches long and 3.2 inches wide. It is a compact bulb meant for quick rinses, refilled as many times as you need.

What liquid should I use?

Plain warm water is the usual choice, and the distributor also mentions saline. Avoid cold water, which can be a shock to the body, and never use hot water. Test the temperature on your wrist first.
