Why does an enema nozzle need a shut-off valve? With a plain nozzle, the only way to control the water is at the shower tap, which is awkward to reach once the nozzle is in place. A valve on the nozzle puts that control in your hand. On this CleanStream nozzle, a push valve at the base starts and stops the flow, so you can set the temperature and pressure first, insert the nozzle with the water off, and then let water in at your own pace.

CleanStream enema nozzle with a push shut-off valve

This CleanStream nozzle is made of stainless steel, which is non-porous and rust-free. The tip is smooth and tapered for easy insertion, with five spray holes that spread the water into a gentler spray. A push valve at the base starts and stops the flow. The nozzle is 6.25 inches long overall, with 4.7 inches insertable and a widest insertable diameter of 0.8 inches.

It attaches to a shower hose and fits most standard hoses, including LE776-type hoses. The hose is sold separately. The nozzle is nickel-free and phthalate-free, works with all lubricants, and can be boiled when you want to clean it thoroughly. The valve parts are ABS plastic and zinc alloy.

Best for: For anyone who already has a shower enema hose, or plans to add one, and wants a slim metal nozzle with flow control in the hand. It suits douching before anal play and cleaning up afterward. At 0.8 inches wide it is manageable for beginners.

How to use

Screw the nozzle onto your shower hose. Run the water and set it to lukewarm at low pressure before the nozzle goes anywhere near you; never use very hot water, which can damage delicate tissue. Close the valve. Put a little lubricant on the tip and insert it slowly. Press the push valve to let water in, and use it again to stop the flow. Take in a small amount, remove the nozzle, and release the water on the toilet. Repeat until the water runs clear.

Care

  • The steel nozzle is compatible with all lubricants.
  • Rinse it inside and out with warm water and mild soap after use.
  • For a thorough clean, the distributor says to boil the attachment in water.
  • Dry it fully before storing.
  • Check that the valve moves freely before each use.

Frequently asked questions

Does it come with a hose?

No. The hose is sold separately. The nozzle is made to fit most standard shower hoses and LE776-type hoses in particular. If you are unsure about your hose, check its fitting before ordering.

How does the valve work?

It is a push valve at the base of the nozzle. Use it to start and stop the flow of water and to keep control of the pressure coming out, without reaching for the shower tap.

Is stainless steel a good material for this?

Stainless steel is non-porous, rust-free and easy to clean. The distributor states that this nozzle is nickel-free and phthalate-free and works with all lubricants. It can also be boiled for a thorough clean.

How big is the nozzle?

It is 6.25 inches long overall, with 4.7 inches insertable. The widest insertable point is 0.8 inches in diameter, which is slim. The tip is smooth and tapered to make insertion easy.

What water temperature should I use?

Lukewarm. The distributor warns against using extremely hot water internally because it can damage delicate anal tissue. Set the temperature at the tap and test it on your hand before you open the valve.
