What does a crystal wand feel like in use? A crystal wand is solid polished stone, so it feels smooth, hard and heavy. It does not bend or compress the way silicone does, which means you feel its full width and every change in shape. The weight lets you use slow, deliberate movements with little effort. Because the surface is so slick, a small amount of lubricant goes a long way. It has no motor, so it is silent and never needs charging.
Le Wand Crystal Wand: a generous, weighty stone shaft
The Crystal Wand is the largest of Le Wand's three crystal wands. It is a straight, double-ended piece of hand-shaped rose quartz or black obsidian, 7 in long and 1.6 in across at its widest, with a broad shaft that narrows toward a slimmer end. The narrow end makes insertion easier, and the wider body gives a filling sensation as you go further.
It weighs about 12.9 oz, enough to feel substantial without being tiring to hold. Away from internal use, the rounded ends and smooth sides work as a body massage tool on the shoulders, thighs or anywhere else. A textured silicone ring comes with it for added outside contact.
Best for: Anyone who enjoys a feeling of fullness and likes a rigid, heavy toy. It is hand-held and used for vaginal play and external or all-over body massage, solo or with a partner. Le Wand does not list it as suitable for anal play.

How to use
Wash and dry the wand before you start. Stone feels cool at first, so hold it against your body or between your palms for a few minutes. Spread lubricant over the narrow end and begin there, moving slowly and letting your body adjust before the wider part of the shaft follows. If you want outside contact as well, put the silicone ring on the shaft beforehand and choose a water-based lubricant. For massage, glide the side or the rounded end over the skin with a little oil. Keep a firm grip and use it over a soft surface.
Care
- Any lubricant suits the stone. With the silicone ring fitted, stick to water-based lubricant.
- Wipe clean with mild antibacterial soap on a damp cloth, or use a toy cleaner, and remove all residue.
- Do not boil, heat or freeze it. Crystal can crack with sudden temperature changes.
- Air dry, then store it in its bag away from other hard objects.
- Do not drop it, and use a condom if the wand is shared.

Frequently asked questions
Which crystal wand is the biggest?
This one. The Crystal Wand measures 7 x 1.6 in and weighs about 12.9 oz. The Crystal Slim Wand is the same length but 1.2 in wide and 8.7 oz. The Crystal G Wand is also 7 in long, curved, up to 1.32 in wide and 11.8 oz.
Is the Crystal Wand a good first stone toy?
It can be, if you already know you like girth. The narrow end helps you start gently. If you are unsure about size or about how rigid stone feels, the Crystal Slim Wand is narrower and lighter, and Le Wand positions that one as the easier starting point.
Can it be used for temperature play?
Only gently. Le Wand advises warming the wand with body heat and warns against heating or freezing it, because a sudden change in temperature may crack the stone. Straight from the bag it will feel cool against the skin.
Can I use silicone lubricant with it?
On the stone alone, yes. Le Wand states the wand is compatible with any lubricant. The included ring is silicone, though, and silicone lubricant should not be used on it, so switch to water-based whenever the ring is on.
Rose quartz or black obsidian: is there a difference in use?
No functional difference is stated by the maker. Both versions share the same shape, size and care instructions. Rose quartz is a pale pink stone and black obsidian is a glossy black one, and natural variation means every piece looks slightly different.
