Why use a stainless steel toy? Steel is rigid, heavy and perfectly smooth. The rigidity gives firm, exact pressure on the prostate or G-spot, and the weight means the toy does part of the work for you. Steel also holds temperature, so a few minutes in warm or cool water changes how it feels. It is non-porous and works with every kind of lubricant. It can be cleaned thoroughly, including by boiling. The main thing to know is that steel has no give, so start slowly.
Le Wand Swerve: two ends, one solid piece of steel
Le Wand Swerve is a curved, double-ended wand made from medical-grade 316 stainless steel. One end carries a double bulb shaped to press on the prostate or the G-spot. The other is a run of graduated beads that starts at 0.42 in across, made for slow, stepped play around the anal sphincter. The widest point of the toy is 1.15 in.
It is 8.46 in long and weighs 1.14 lb, so there is always enough length left outside the body to hold. Le Wand rates it as a medium-size toy for intermediate users and lists it as suitable for anal play.
Best for: People with some experience of firm toys who want prostate or G-spot pressure and beaded anal play from one tool. It is hand-held and insertable, vaginally or anally, for solo or partnered use. Keep hold of the outer end at all times during anal play.

How to use
Wash the Swerve before first use. For temperature play, leave it in a bowl of warm or cool water for a few minutes and test it on your inner wrist. Apply plenty of lubricant to the end you plan to use. With the beaded end, go one bead at a time and pause at each step. With the double-bulb end, insert it so the curve points toward the front of the body, then rock gently instead of thrusting. Steel does not flex, so let comfort set the pace, and keep a firm grip on the outer end throughout.
Care
- Every lubricant type is safe on steel, including warming and cooling formulas.
- Wash with mild antibacterial soap and warm water or a toy cleaner, then rinse and dry.
- To sanitize, the Swerve can be boiled for a few minutes or washed in a dishwasher.
- Dry fully and store in its case so the polished surface does not get scratched.
- Clean it between anal and vaginal use, and between partners.

Frequently asked questions
Is the Swerve safe for anal use without a flared base?
Le Wand lists the Swerve as suitable for anal play, but it has no flared base. The maker's advice is to take care that it does not slip fully inside. At 8.46 in long there is plenty to hold, so always keep a hand on the outer end.
Which end is for what?
The double-bulb end is shaped for prostate or G-spot massage, giving firm pressure on one area. The beaded end increases in size bead by bead and is meant for gradual play at the anal opening. You can also swap ends simply to change the sensation.
How do I warm or cool it?
Place it in warm or cool water for a few minutes before use. Steel takes on the water's temperature and holds it for a while. Always test it against your wrist first, and avoid extremes that would be uncomfortable on sensitive skin.
Is it heavy?
It weighs 1.14 lb, which is noticeable but manageable. Within Le Wand's steel range that puts it near the lighter end: the Bow is 1.11 lb, the Arch 1.39 lb, the Hoop 1.87 lb and the Contour 4.4 lb.
Is it a good first steel toy?
Le Wand rates it as medium-size and aimed at intermediate users. The small 0.42 in starting bead is gentle, but the rigid steel and 1.15 in maximum width suit someone who has used insertable toys before. Complete beginners may prefer a softer material first.
