What is the difference between a head harness and a hood? A hood covers the head in a continuous layer. A head harness is a framework of straps that leaves most of the head open to the air, which is cooler and easier to size because every strap adjusts on its own. This harness has a brow strap, a strap running under the chin and over the crown, a strap that holds the muzzle, and a collar. The muzzle covers only the mouth and chin.
Leather Head Harness with Muzzle: padded and lockable
This head harness is made from genuine leather with metal hardware. Padded straps wrap the brow, pass under the chin and over the crown, and close around the neck as a collar. A leather muzzle sits over the mouth and chin and is held in place by its own strap. Every strap has a buckle, so the fit can be set closely to the wearer's head and face.
The straps can be locked so the wearer cannot undo them. There are two D-rings, one on the muzzle and one on the collar, for a leash, chain or other attachment. The harness is black, and each strap is sized separately, as listed in the specifications.
Best for: Experienced players and collectors who prefer real leather and want a muzzle for consensual pet play or Dominant and submissive scenes. The padding is intended for longer sessions. The wide strap ranges suit larger heads; check the measurements before ordering.

How to use
Open every buckle before you start. Seat the harness on the wearer's head, then fasten the brow strap, the strap under the chin and over the crown, and the collar, leaving two fingers of room at the neck. Bring the muzzle over the mouth and chin and buckle its strap last. Make sure the nostrils are completely clear and the wearer can breathe easily. Speech is muffled, so agree on a hand signal in place of a safe word. If you lock the straps, keep the keys on you. Never leave a muzzled or locked person alone, and take the harness off if they signal.
Care
- Wipe the leather with a soft, slightly damp cloth after use and let it dry at room temperature.
- Clean the inside of the muzzle with a leather-safe cleaner.
- Treat the leather with conditioner from time to time to keep it supple.
- Never soak leather or dry it with heat.
- Store it on a stand or lying flat, away from damp and direct sunlight.

Frequently asked questions
Will it fit my head?
The brow strap adjusts from 19.25 to 32.75 inches, the chin-over-crown strap from 25.25 to 39.25 inches, the gag strap from 23.25 to 32.25 inches and the collar from 19.75 to 30 inches. Measure each point. The collar's smallest setting is large, so it may sit loose on a slim neck.
Does the muzzle block breathing?
The muzzle covers the mouth and chin, not the nose. Check that the nostrils stay clear after fitting and never use it on someone with a blocked nose. Do not add anything that covers the nose.
Are locks included?
The distributor's description mentions locks for keeping the straps in place, but there is no contents list to confirm how many or what kind. If locking matters to you, have small padlocks on hand.
Is this real leather?
Yes. The materials are listed as leather and metal, and the distributor describes it as genuine leather. Real leather needs a little care: wipe it down, let it dry naturally and condition it occasionally.
Where can I attach a leash?
There are two D-rings. One is on the muzzle and one is on the collar. Lead gently and never fix the leash to an anchor point while the harness is being worn.
