Care and tips for this toy

Metal

Clean

  1. 1Wash with soap and warm water after every use.
  2. 2Check welds and joints while you clean it.
  3. 3Dry it completely.

Dry and store

  1. 1Store dry, in its own pouch.
  2. 2Keep it cool and dry, away from humidity.
  3. 3Any lube works with steel. Water-based is the easiest to wash off.

Avoid

  1. Using it very cold or warm without testing it on your wrist first.
  2. Abrasive cleaners on anodised aluminium.
  3. Using an aluminium toy once its coating has chipped.

Light pressure, short wear

Start on the lightest setting and wear them for 15 to 20 minutes at most. Remove at once on numbness, sharp pain or a colour change.

Steel does not give

Choose 0.1 to 0.2 in smaller than you would in silicone. It holds warmth and cold well: warm it in water or cool it, and test on your wrist before use.

How are vice clamps different from other nipple clamps? Most nipple clamps close with a spring, so the pressure is whatever the spring gives. A vice clamp closes with a screw instead. You place the nipple between the two bars and turn the screw until the grip feels right. Each small turn adds or removes a little pressure, which gives far more control than a spring. That makes vice clamps useful both for people who want a light hold and for those who want a firm one. These open up to 0.5 in wide.

Pressure Vice Metal Nipple Clamps: pressure set by a screw

Pressure Vice Metal Nipple Clamps are a pair of screw-tightened clamps linked by a chain. Turning the screw on each clamp raises or lowers the pressure in small steps, so you can set each side exactly where you want it. The clamps measure 1.1 in by 1.4 in and open up to 0.5 in wide. The connecting chain is 13 in long.

The whole set is made of nickel-free metal in a silver finish, which suits sensitive skin. A partner can tug on the chain to add pulling sensation. Because the clamps are solid metal, they can also be warmed or cooled before use for temperature play.

Best for: People who want exact control over clamp pressure, from beginners who prefer to start light to experienced users who like a strong grip. They work for solo use and for partner play, where the chain gives the other person something to pull.

Specifications

  • Clamp size: 1.1 in length x 1.4 in width
  • Clamp opening: Up to 0.5 in wide
  • Chain length: 13 in
  • Material: Metal (nickel-free)
  • Color: Silver

How to use

Loosen the screw on each clamp until the bars are wide open. Place one clamp around the base of the nipple, not on the tip, and turn the screw until it holds without sliding. Add pressure a quarter turn at a time. Repeat on the other side. In partner play, agree on a safe word first, and pull the chain gently to begin with. Keep early sessions short, around 10 to 15 minutes, and take the clamps off sooner if the skin goes numb or changes color. Loosen the screw slowly to remove them. Sensation often peaks as blood flow returns.

Care

  • Wash the clamps with warm water and mild soap after use.
  • Dry them completely, including the screw threads, so the metal stays in good condition.
  • To warm or cool them, use a bowl of warm or cool water and test on your wrist first.
  • Store them dry, with the chain untangled.
  • Check that the screws turn freely before each use.

Frequently asked questions

Are these suitable for beginners?

Yes. The screw lets you start with very light pressure and increase slowly, which is harder to do with spring clamps. Start loose, keep the first sessions short and remove them if anything feels numb.

Will they fit larger nipples?

Each clamp opens up to 0.5 in wide. If the part you want to clamp is narrower than that, they should fit. The clamp body is 1.1 in long and 1.4 in wide.

What is the chain for?

The 13 in chain keeps the two clamps together so neither gets lost. It can also be pulled or tugged, by you or a partner, to add pressure and a pulling sensation.

I am sensitive to nickel. Can I use these?

The clamps and chain are described as made entirely of nickel-free metal, so they are intended to suit sensitive skin. Stop using them if you notice any irritation or redness.

How long can I leave them on?

As general guidance, keep clamps on for short periods, around 10 to 15 minutes, and less when you are new to them. Remove them at once if the area goes numb, cold or pale.
