Why does a penis pump need a pressure gauge? Without a gauge you judge suction by feel alone, and it is easy to go further than you meant to. A gauge shows the vacuum as a number on a dial while you pump. That lets you stop at the same reading each time, raise it in small steps, and back off before it becomes uncomfortable. The gauge on the Pump Up sits on the trigger handle and reads up to 700 mmHg, next to a quick release.

Pump Up: trigger pump, pressure gauge, clear cylinder

The Jock Pump Up is a manual penis pump with a pressure gauge built into its trigger handle. Squeeze the handle to draw air out of the cylinder and watch the dial rise, up to 700 mmHg. The cylinder is rigid, transparent SAN plastic, 9.5 inches long overall with 8.8 inches of inner length and a 2.3 inch inner diameter.

Graduated lines on the cylinder show your progress as you pump. A silicone sleeve at the opening, 0.8 inches across before it stretches, wraps the shaft and makes the airtight seal. A quick release on the handle lets the pressure out when you have reached your limit.

Best for: For men who like to pump by numbers. The gauge suits users who want to repeat the same pressure from one session to the next, and beginners who would rather read the suction than guess it. It is fully manual, with nothing to charge.

How to use

Fit the hose to the cylinder and the pump handle. Apply water-based lubricant to the silicone sleeve and around the base of the penis. Slide in and hold the cylinder against the body so the sleeve seals. Squeeze the trigger a few times and watch the gauge. Begin with a low reading and hold it for a short time before adding more. Do not chase the top of the dial. Press the quick release to clear the vacuum before taking the cylinder off, and release straight away if you feel pain, numbness or coldness.

Care

  • Use only water-based lubricant, as the distributor advises.
  • Detach the hose and sleeve, then wash the cylinder and sleeve with warm water and mild soap.
  • Do not put the handle or gauge under water; wipe them with a damp cloth.
  • Dry all parts fully before reassembly.
  • Store it where the gauge will not be knocked, away from heat and sunlight.

Frequently asked questions

What does the gauge read?

The dial on the handle shows the vacuum inside the cylinder, up to 700 mmHg according to the distributor. Use it to find a level that feels firm but comfortable and return to that reading next time. It is a guide, not a target to reach.

How does it compare with the Jock Amp Up?

The cylinder, sleeve and hose measurements are the same on both, and both use a trigger handle with a quick release. The Pump Up adds the pressure gauge and has a slightly longer handle at 8.4 inches. Choose it if you want a reading for the suction.

What size does the cylinder take?

The inside of the cylinder is 8.8 inches long and 2.3 inches in diameter. The silicone sleeve opening measures 0.8 inches unstretched and stretches to fit around the shaft and seal.

Which lubricant works with the sleeve?

The distributor says to use water-based lubricant only. It helps the silicone sleeve grip and seal, and it rinses off the cylinder with warm water. Avoid silicone and oil-based products on the sleeve.

Can a beginner use it?

Yes. The gauge takes much of the guesswork out of a first session. Pump slowly, stay at a low reading at first, keep sessions short and use the quick release whenever the suction feels too strong.
