How to use
Agree on a safe word and a hand signal before fitting. Loosen the straps, place the collar around the neck with the chin resting on the brace, and buckle it so two fingers still slide between collar and neck. Check that the wearer can breathe, swallow and talk without effort. Add locks only once the fit is right, and keep the keys within reach. Clip cuffs or other accessories to the D-rings if you like, but never pull hard on the collar or tie it to a fixed point. Stay with the wearer the whole time and remove it if they feel dizzy or sore.
Care
- Wipe the vegan leather with a damp cloth and a little mild soap after use.
- Dry it with a soft towel and let it air before storing; do not soak it.

It adjusts from 17 to 20.25 inches in circumference. Measure around the middle of the neck with a soft tape. If you measure under 17 inches, this collar will sit too loose; the Hard Stance posture collar starts at 14.5 inches.
Are locks included?
The distributor says the straps can be locked but does not list padlocks or keys as included. Plan on supplying your own small padlocks, and always keep the keys close by during a scene so the collar can come off quickly.
How is it different from the Hard Stance posture collar?
This collar has a chin brace, three D-rings and fits 17 to 20.25 inches. The Hard Stance has no chin brace listed, one front D-ring and fits 14.5 to 19.5 inches. Choose this one for more head support and more attachment points.
How long can it be worn?
The padding is there to make longer wear more comfortable, but a posture collar holds the neck in one position. Take breaks, ask how the wearer feels, and remove it at any sign of numbness, dizziness, neck pain or difficulty breathing.
Is it real leather?
No. It is vegan leather with metal hardware. The distributor says it looks like the real thing and is easy to keep clean. A damp cloth is enough for routine cleaning after a scene.
