What is a wand massager and how is it used? A wand is an external vibrator with a long handle and a large, rounded head. The head carries the motor, so the vibration is broad and strong instead of pinpoint. That makes a wand useful in two ways. Held against the clitoris and vulva, it spreads sensation over a wide area. Run over the shoulders, back or legs, it works as a body massager. A wand is not meant to be inserted. The long handle also makes it easy to hold between two bodies during sex.
Satisfyer Wand-er Woman: full-size wand, full-body use
The Satisfyer Wand-er Woman is a large wand massager, 13.4 inches from end to end, with a velvety silicone head on a smooth silicone shaft. It offers 50 vibration combinations, made up of 10 rhythms that each run at 5 intensity levels. Use it for external clitoral stimulation or as a massager for the neck, back, calves and anywhere else on the body.
Unlike many plug-in wands, this one runs on a built-in lithium-ion battery, so there is no cord to manage during use. It is waterproof to IPX7, which means it can go in the bath, and it has a whisper mode for quieter running. Charging is by magnetic USB cable.
Best for: A match for anyone who prefers strong, broad external vibration over targeted tips, and for couples who want a massager that doubles as a sex toy. It is used externally only, on the clitoris and vulva or across the body.

How to use
Charge the wand fully with the magnetic USB cable first. Switch it on at the lowest intensity and get a feel for the head against your hand or thigh. For clitoral use, add a little water-based lubricant and rest the head on or beside the clitoris. Many people find indirect contact, through the labia or underwear, more comfortable at the start. Step up the intensity gradually, then try the different rhythms. For massage, move the head slowly over muscles in the shoulders, back or legs. Keep it external.
Care
- Use water-based lubricant only on the silicone head and shaft.
- Wash with soap and water or a toy cleaner after use and dry it well.
- Do not boil it or put it in a dishwasher. It has a motor and a battery inside.
- Charge with the supplied magnetic USB cable, with the contacts dry.
- Store it dry, away from heat and from other silicone toys.

Frequently asked questions
How big is the Wand-er Woman?
It measures 13.4 inches long, about 2.2 inches wide, and weighs 22.8 oz. That is a full-size wand, noticeably larger and heavier than travel wands, so expect something you hold with a whole hand.
Does it need to be plugged in while in use?
No. It runs on a built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery and is charged with a magnetic USB cable. Satisfyer does not publish a run time or charge time, so we do not quote one.
Is it waterproof?
Yes. The Wand-er Woman is rated IPX7, so it can be used in the bath or shower and washed under running water. Dry the charging contacts before plugging in the cable.
Can it be controlled with the Satisfyer Connect app?
No. This model is controlled only by the buttons on the handle. Satisfyer models that work with the app have Connect App in their name, and this one does not.
Is a wand too strong for beginners?
Not if you start low. The Wand-er Woman has five intensity levels, so begin at the first one and use it through fabric or beside the clitoris. Move to direct contact and higher levels once you know what you like.
