Why keep safety scissors in a bondage kit? Knots jam, tape sticks and zip ties do not come undone. If the bound person feels numbness, panic or pain, the tie needs to come off in seconds, and ordinary scissors with sharp points are risky that close to skin. Safety scissors solve this. The lower blade ends in a rounded, shielded tip that slides between the restraint and the body, and the angled handle keeps your hand clear while you cut. They belong within reach in every scene that uses rope or tape.
Temptasia Safety Scissors: a quick release for any tie
Temptasia Safety Scissors are a bondage safety tool made of stainless steel. They are designed to free a bound partner quickly from rope, tape, poly wrap, zip ties or soft bondage materials. The tip is rounded and protected and the handle is angled, so the blade can pass under a restraint without cutting or scraping the skin beneath it.
They are also suited to medical fetish scenes and to cutting off clothing as part of play. The scissors are easy to use and easy to clean, and small enough to keep in a nightstand or toy bag. Keep a pair wherever you play.
Best for: For anyone who ties, tapes or wraps a partner, from first-timers to experienced rope users. They suit couples who want a reliable quick release close at hand, and scenes built around medical play or cutting away clothes.

How to use
Before a scene starts, put the scissors where the person doing the tying can reach them without leaving their partner. To release, slide the rounded lower tip flat between the restraint and the skin, lift slightly away from the body and cut. Work on the tie nearest the problem first, such as a wrist or the chest. For zip ties and thick rope, cut in small bites. Afterward, wipe the blades and return them to the same place every time.
Care
- Wipe the blades with a damp cloth and mild soap after use, then dry them straight away.
- Remove tape residue with a little rubbing alcohol on a cloth.
- Store them dry so the steel stays clean.
- Check that they still cut cleanly from time to time and replace them if they become dull.

Frequently asked questions
What can these scissors cut?
The distributor lists rope, tape, poly wrap, zip ties and soft bondage materials, plus clothing. They are not made for metal restraints, chain or thick leather, which need a key or a different tool.
How do they avoid cutting skin?
The tip is rounded and protected, and the handle is angled. The blunt lower tip lies flat against the body and lifts the material up into the blades, so the cutting edge stays away from the skin.
Do beginners need them?
Yes. Anyone using rope, tape or zip ties should have a fast way to remove them. The maker calls them a tool for new and experienced bondage enthusiasts alike. Keep them in reach whenever someone is tied.
