What is a Tenga cup, and why is it single use? A Tenga cup is a ready-to-use stroker sealed inside a hard plastic case. The sleeve arrives already coated with lubricant, so you remove the cap and it is ready. An air hole on top lets you control suction with one finger. Tenga designs these cups to be used once and thrown away. The sleeve is fixed inside the case and cannot be taken out to wash and dry properly, so reusing one is not hygienic.
Tenga Air Flow Cup Delicate Gentle Edition: soft spirals on air
The Air Flow Cup is one of Tenga's disposable cups. Its sleeve is molded with spiral ribs on the outside as well as the inside, which leaves pockets of air between the sleeve and the hard case. Push in and that trapped air presses the sleeve back around you. Cover the air hole on top and a valve turns the same air into suction on the way out.
The Delicate Gentle Edition uses softer materials than the standard Air Flow Cup, for a lighter, more yielding feel. It comes pre-lubricated, with a pad at the opening that seals around you and spreads the lotion as you enter. Use it once, put the cap back on and throw it away.
Best for: People who want a ready-to-go stroker with no washing afterward, for travel or for trying Tenga before buying a reusable model. It is a penetrable sleeve for solo or partner-held use. The Gentle edition suits those who are sensitive or who prefer a soft touch.

How to use
Remove the wrapping from the bottom of the cup, then peel the sticker off the air hole on top. Take off the cap to uncover the pre-lubricated opening. Keep the air hole uncovered while you slide in, so air can escape and entry stays easy. Once inside, rest a finger over the hole as you stroke to build suction, and lift it to release. No extra lubricant is needed, though you can add a little water-based lubricant if you want more glide. When you finish, put the cap back on and dispose of the cup.

Frequently asked questions
Can I reuse the Air Flow Cup?
No. Tenga makes its cups for one-time use and tells you to recap and discard them afterward. The sleeve cannot be removed from the case for proper cleaning and drying. If you want something washable, look at Tenga's reusable Flex, Aero or Flip lines.
How is the Gentle edition different from the standard and Strong cups?
All three share the same spiral-ribbed air cushion design. The Delicate Gentle Edition is made with softer materials for a lighter feel. The Dynamic Strong Edition goes the other way, with firmer material for more intense stimulation. The standard cup sits between them.
Do I need to add lubricant?
No. The cup arrives pre-lubricated, with lotion inside the sleeve and in a ring at the opening. The pad at the entrance spreads it as you insert. Add a small amount of water-based lubricant only if you want it slicker.
How does the air hole work?
The hole on top lets air in and out of the sleeve. Leave it open and strokes feel light. Cover it with a fingertip and a valve keeps air from flowing back in, so the sleeve pulls on the way out.
What size is it?
The cup stands 6.1 inches tall and 2.7 inches across, and weighs 4.3 ounces. Tenga gives an insertion length of 5.5 inches and an insertion width of 1.77 inches as reference figures. The hard case does not stretch.
