What does the coil inside a Tenga Spinner actually do? The coil sits inside the wall of the sleeve, a little like a spring wrapped in soft elastomer. As the sleeve lengthens on the way in, the spring unwinds and rotates the textured lining. As the sleeve shortens on the way out, it winds back. You get a twisting motion layered on top of the normal up-and-down stroke, and the edges of the texture sweep across the skin sideways as well as lengthwise. It is fully mechanical, so it is silent.
Tenga Spinner 02 Hexa: bold edges that turn
Spinner 02 Hexa is the firm, defined option in Tenga's coil-powered stroker range. Its lining is a honeycomb of hexagonal tiles with pointed edges, and the built-in coil rotates those edges across the shaft each time you push in or pull back. The result is a more pronounced, textured feel than the softer Tetra, in the same compact can-sized format.
The sleeve is made of stretchable elastomer and is meant to be washed and used again. Its case has a drying stand hidden under the bottom cover, and a pouch of Tenga lotion is included so you can use it straight away.
Best for: Suited to people who like to feel the texture clearly and want a firmer sleeve than a typical soft stroker. It is used by hand on the penis, solo or with a partner holding it, and needs only lubricant to work.

How to use
Pull off the top cover and take the Hexa out of the case. Peel away the plastic film protector and take out the lotion pouch. Coat the inside of the sleeve and the entry point with lotion, and be generous, since the firmer texture works better when it is well lubricated. Grip the sleeve from the top, squeeze to release the air, and insert. Stroke at your own pace and let the coil do the turning. When you finish, rinse it, pat it dry and leave it on the drying case.
Care
- Stick to water-based lubricant, and reapply if the sleeve starts to drag.
- Rinse thoroughly with cold or lukewarm water after each use. Mild, neutral soap is fine. Do not use alcohol or other cleaners.
- Never turn the sleeve completely inside out, because that can break the coil.
- Towel it dry, then air dry on the stand under the bottom cover.
- Store it in its closed case, away from heat and direct sunlight, only once it is completely dry.

Frequently asked questions
Is the Hexa tighter or more intense than the Tetra?
Tenga does not publish tightness figures, and both have the same listed dimensions. The difference is in the lining: the Tetra has mild-edged tiles and a softer, roomier feel, while the Hexa has firm hexagons with pointed edges for more defined stimulation.
Is it noisy?
There is no motor, so there is no buzzing. The only sound comes from the lubricant and from air moving if you use the suction. That makes it easier to use quietly than a powered stroker.
What lubricant should I use?
Use a water-based lubricant. The pouch in the can is Tenga's own water-based lotion. Apply it inside the sleeve and around the opening before you start, and add more during use if needed.
How do I dry the inside?
After rinsing, pat the sleeve with a towel and stand it on the drying case, which you reach by removing the bottom cover of the can. Leave it in a ventilated place until the inside is fully dry before closing the case.
Is it reusable or single-use?
It is reusable. Tenga does not state a set number of uses and says the lifespan depends on use, lubricant, cleaning and storage. Replace it if the sleeve tears or the layers start to separate.
