What does a vacuum controller add to a Tenga cup? A Tenga cup has a small air hole at the top. Cover it with a finger and the cup grips tighter as you pull back. A vacuum controller takes over that job with a motor. It locks onto the top of the cup and pumps air out, so the soft sleeve inside is drawn in around you. The Vacuum Controller II can hold a steady pull at two strengths or cycle through three rhythm patterns, and a release valve lets pressure off when you want.
Tenga Vacuum Max: powered suction for Tenga cups
Tenga Vacuum Max is a two-part set: the rechargeable Vacuum Controller II and a Vacuum Tenga Cup made to go with it. The controller twists onto an adapter on top of the cup and uses a diaphragm motor to draw air out, which tightens the sleeve around the shaft. Two buttons step through five programmed modes, two constant suction strengths and three rhythm patterns.
The Vacuum Tenga Cup has a spiral ribbed interior that winds and contracts as the suction builds. It arrives pre-lubricated and is a single-use cup. The controller is the part you keep, and it also fits Tenga's regular-size Original Vacuum Cups and Rolling Tenga Cups.
Best for: For Tenga cup users who want hands-free, stronger suction than a fingertip over the air hole can give, and for anyone curious about powered suction on the penis. The controller is reused, and each compatible cup is a single-use sleeve bought separately after the first.

How to use
Charge the controller with the USB-C cable first; a full charge takes about 70 minutes. Unwrap the Vacuum Tenga Cup and peel the air hole sticker off its top. Press the adapter firmly onto the top of the cup, then twist the control unit onto the adapter until it clicks. Open the cup, which is already lubricated, and insert. Make sure the entrance seals around you, because any gap lets air in. Press the buttons to pick a suction strength or rhythm, and use the release valve if the pull is too much. Detach the controller before throwing the cup away.
Care
- Do not add extra lubricant to the cup when using the controller. Tenga warns that excess lotion can cause a malfunction.
- Use a fresh cup each time. The maker says not to reuse disposable Tenga cups with the controller.
- Tenga's page gives no waterproof rating for the control unit, so keep it dry and wipe it with a cloth. Never boil it or put it in a dishwasher.
- Recharge with the supplied USB-C cable. A full charge takes about 70 minutes.
- Store the controller in a cool, dry place with the cup removed.

Frequently asked questions
Which cups work with the Vacuum Max controller?
The Vacuum Tenga Cup, the regular-size Original Vacuum Cup range (including Gentle, Strong, Cool and Premium versions) and the Rolling Tenga Cup range. Tenga says the U.S. and SD size Original Vacuum Cups do not fit. Look for the compatibility sticker on the cup's top.
Is the cup in the box reusable?
No. The Vacuum Tenga Cup is a pre-lubricated, single-use cup that is thrown away after a session. The Vacuum Controller II is the reusable part. Further cups are bought separately.
How long does the battery last?
Tenga lists about 60 minutes of running time from a 70-minute charge. It charges through a USB-C cable, which is included. The battery is a built-in lithium-ion polymer cell, so there are no batteries to replace.
What are the five modes?
Two are constant suction at different strengths. The other three are rhythm patterns in which the suction rises and falls on its own. You switch between them with the two buttons on the control unit.
What if the suction feels too strong?
Use the release valve on the controller to let air back into the cup and drop the pressure, or switch to the lower suction strength. Suction also depends on a good seal at the cup's entrance.
