How do you play the Weed card game? Each player builds a garden by laying down plant cards. At the same time you try to stop the others from growing healthy crops. You can plant Dandelions in another player's garden, Steal their plants or Bust them for possession. A round closes when someone has five plant cards in their garden. There is one more hazard: a card called Potzilla, which can destroy a garden completely. It is a light game of growing and sabotage.
Weed card game: grow yours, wreck theirs
Weed is a cannabis-themed card game from Kheper Games. The goal is to build up your own garden while keeping your rivals from doing the same. Attack cards let you plant Dandelions in an opponent's plot, Steal plants and Bust another player for possession. Five plant cards in a garden end the round. Then there is Potzilla, who can wipe out everything you have grown.
Best for: For adults who like quick, cutthroat card games with a funny theme. It suits casual game nights where players enjoy getting in each other's way. No knowledge of growing anything is needed, only a taste for sabotage.

Frequently asked questions
Does the game contain or require cannabis?
No. It is a card game with a cannabis theme. The plants are cards, and nothing in the supplier's description involves using any real product. It is an ordinary tabletop game with a cheeky subject.
How many players can join?
The supplier does not give a player count. The game is built around attacking other players' gardens, so it needs at least two people and is livelier with more. Check the rule sheet for the official range.
What does Potzilla do?
Potzilla is the card to fear. The supplier says it can destroy everything in a garden, so a player who is about to close the round can lose the lot.
